The gel display utility allows the exploration of any 2DE patterns in the database. The user can zoom in any particular region of the image, change the size of the display (accommodating differing network speeds), and step within the image in 8 directions (similar to map displays).
If the image has been profiled (MW and pI dimensions), these attributes are dynamically displayed.



The gel animation utility allows the animation of any number of 2DE gel patterns. The animations can be saved in the bio-bag for later retrieval.
The animations can be edited, allowing the user to select an area from all the images in the series.
